weird house around the world

Strange & weird  house

Since humans began living in caves, they had the urge to decorate their dwellings.
For most people, it's an understandable wish to beautify and embelish their homes, surroundings and environments..

For others, this decorating becomes an  obsession.  And for some people, it becomes a life quest, a way to articlulate a vision and to validate a life.  It's an attempt to make a dream a reality and to share that dream with the world.

Are you dreaming of a home like no other? Maybe one with walls made of foam? How about a pyramid 37 stories above Seattle, or even a spaceship? Every home buyer wants to find the perfect home, one that fits all of their personal quirks and dreams, and not everyone is hoping for four walls, a foundation, and a picket fence.

We’ve identified some of the most unique homes in the world and imagined who the perfect home owners would be.

Which one would you choose to live in?

Everyone has a different notion of what an ideal home should be, but for the most part there is little variation among the houses birthed from the post-WWII suburban boom.

Modern planned communities tend to offer only a handful of design options, while custom projects are expensive and time consuming. But as homeowners begin shifting toward more sustainable, off-the-grid, DIY habitats, more personal, unique homes are inevitable. Here we look at innovative, bizarre and one-of-a-kind homes and what makes them stand out.

People can live virtually anywhere — but some do it better than others.
These beautiful, wacky, and unique living structures are a testament to human creativity and ingenuity.

From a home with an airplane on top to an innovative sundial home that heats itself, these are a lot of the most interesting houses on the planet.

Moving into and setting up your new home is definitely one of the most exciting things – especially for those who never find enough outlets for their ideas and designs. Throughout history, people have gone from caves to huts to castles to blocks of flats – and nowadays, seems like you can find an example of just anything. Some people are forced to get creative because of some physical restrictions – like small or unusual space – while others do so just because.

If you feel like you could use some inspiration to design your future home – or just like checking out the weird ideas some people have – this post is just for you! Would you choose to live in a former church, or a renovated water tower? Or how about a completely transparent house, or one that is a spitting image of the Flintstones’ cave? Check out our selection of world’s weirdest houses and share your thoughts in the comments!

There are a few absolute necessities in life, primarily food, water, and shelter. A house will, for the most part, give someone a chance to have all of these three things in one nice, simple package. Houses, particularly these days, are generally pretty cookie cutter and tend to look very run of the mill and, well, boring. Walls, a roof, a foundation, and a toilet or two are all you really need to be part of a standard housing development.

Of course, there are people who laugh in the face of such conformity, and who build and live in some of the strangest, most unique houses you’ll ever come across. Here are some of them.
